Welcome To The Auction!

Outlander Central has joined forces with Dragonfly in Amber Lithographs artist Joanna Michalak for our “Blood of My Blood” Silent Auction benefiting Bloodwise for leukaemia and lymphoma research. All proceeds from your donations will go directly to Bloodwise

Outlander Central is a fan blog dedicated to the Outlander series of books by Diana Gabaldon, and the hit Starz television series, Outlander.

Joanna Michalak is an amazing graphic artist who has used her talents to bring Jamie and Claire to life through her artwork and was the winner of the Dragonfly in Amber Lithographs contest, after being one of only 6 finalists chosen by Diana Gabaldon.  She recently met Outlander star Sam Heughan at Jibland in Rome, Italy, where she told him about the auction. We want to thank Sam for graciously signing two of Jo’s art pieces that we will be auctioning and Joanna for generously donating them.

In honor of Sam for bringing our favorite Highlander, Jamie Fraser, to life, we are donating all proceeds from this auction to Bloodwise, the charity for which Sam has been fundraising and supporting since 2011.  Sam continues to raise awareness and money for blood cancer research by competing in marathons, triathlons and through My Peak Challenge, the global initiative he founded in 2015 to encourage everyone to tackle his/her own personal goals – and help beat blood cancer at the same time.
